On behalf of our client, a US leading manufacturer of highly engineered critical components and customized technology solutions for the energy, transportation, and industrial markets we are looking for a highly aspirated Web Applications Developer to join their top-notch engineering team based in Athens.

Role Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the technical aspect of specifically assigned enterprise applications. Also, he will be responsible for the day to day workflow and support responsiveness and coordinate with management and other IT teams to handle various tasks.

Key Accountabilities

• Assists in planning all work tasks, ensuring best practices have been implemented
• Performs all activities relating to analysis, development, programming, implementation, documentation, benefit analysis and root cause analysis.
• Provides recommendations on use and potential benefits of new integrations and process improvements
• Performs escalations when in risk of missing deadlines or when testing identifies an unplanned result
• Maintains all applicable technical documentation
• Participates in various special projects as required

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering any other relevant job experience supporting technical configuration of enterprise-wide applications
• Minimum 1+ years of experience recommending and implementing best practices in new systems’ design and successful optimization in existing design
• Solid Knowledge of .Net framework technologies ( ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, C# and LINQ)
• Knowledge and experience in developing ASP.NET Web applications using HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript or Angular JS
• Web Services design and development using Rest and Web APIs is a must.
• Experience with Active Directory, Powershell scripts, MSSQL, Entity Framework, ITSM and ITIL tools and Lean Six Sigma certification is nice to have
