About the role

On behalf of our client, a world’s leading Telecom Company with presence in more than 20 countries, we are currently looking for a Test Analyst to join its super talented team in Bucharest.

 

Role Summary

 

You will be involved in the development and implementation of the software and hardware solutions; responsible for the entire testing process for Cloud and Hosting Practice in the company.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Review of the technical and design specifications (High Level Design, Detailed Level Design), Builds test plan and test scenarios
  • Plans and executes the tests to ensure that the software / hardware solutions are in accordance with the functional and technical specifications
  • Identifies and reports defects, software or hardware, in the defect tracking management tool and is responsible to follow-up from investigation till resolution
  • Configures the test environments for hardware and software solutions towards and ensure readiness towards test execution
  • Drives the testing of hardware and software solutions for department of Cloud and Hosting
  • Works against agreed KPIs

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in in testing software and hardware solutions and QA methodologies
  • Knowledge on TCP/IP, Virtualisation, Software Defined Network
  • Specialized Certification: Cisco Certification CCNA (Routing & Switching)
  • At least one programming scripting language: (UNIX, Perl, Python) 
  • Software programming creating for test automation
  • Good understanding of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle)
  • Work experience with TFS (Team Foundation Server/TestRail) or HP-Quality Centre
