About the role

On behalf of our client, a leading construction company with international activity, we are looking for a motivated, talented and highly productive System Operations Associate to join its highly skilled team of successful professionals at the company's headquarters in Athens.

 

Role Summary

You will support the flawless availability and operations of internal systems, software, hardware and network systems. You will participate in the provisioning and deployment of organizational IT policies and procedures according to corporate goals & regulatory requirements.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support cloud-based & virtual server environment, storage, IP Telephony and basic network infrastructure
  • Administer Exchange Server Environments both on premise and on cloud, Active Directory, endpoint security systems, Patch Management and Mobile Device Management (MDM)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and problems escalated by support teams
  • Control and monitor licensing and contracts, while providing technical guidance for design and implementation of technology
  • Create and maintain documentation required for the operation and support of the company’s client Systems Operations and Networking environment

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Strong knowledge of Windows & Linux systems
  • Troubleshooting experience with Windows and MS 365 technologies
  • Involvement with Cloud based technologies & solutions
  • Solid experience with CISCO IP telephony technologies
  • Very good knowledge of the English language, oral and written

Strong Pluses

  • Experience in ticketing systems
  • Cisco Call Manager
