About the role
On behalf of our client, a leading innovative product development company within the Internet & Telco industry, we are currently looking for a skilled and self-motivated Systems Engineer to become a vital member of their top level engineering team based in Athens.
Role Summary
You will participate in the design, implementation and administration of infrastructure on-premises and in the public cloud, the implementation and administration of system and security software, as well as provide technical support to application developers and users.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for the technical aspects of specifically assigned enterprise applications, processes and integrations, critical to the successful daily operations
- Installation & configuration of Windows & Linux Servers, Active Directory, Virtual Infrastructure, Hyper-V, Storage, Network, Security and Back-up systems and structure
- Troubleshoot and provide 3rd Level support
- Work with end-point protection technologies to ensure flawless operation
- Oversee day-to-day production support and workflows
- Create, modify and maintain forms, portal components, performance analytics, language pack and similar plug-ins
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in systems support, installation, configuration, testing and maintenance in a Cloud environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant technology field
- Proven working experience supporting technical configuration of enterprise-wide applications in a cutting-edge technology environment
- A broad understanding of the tools available for analysis, systems design, programming languages, and documentation
- Experience in applying the tools to actual business situations
