On behalf of our client, a leading company in the computer & internet security sector, we are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join their top-notch Network Infrastructure Solutions engineering team based in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Role Summary

You will be a part of a dynamic team of highly focused engineers and consultants, responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement, availability and quality of designated mission-critical enterprise applications and guarantee smooth in-house & client business operations.

Key Accountabilities

• Analyze customer needs and develop action plan on a range of diverse requirements within IT Infrastructure
• Be part of a team to administer and maintain the corporate Systems Infrastructure
• Proactive monitoring and management of the infrastructure
• Troubleshooting and resolve issues reported by either Internal Users or SOC team
• Actively respond to incidents and requests
• Support of on-going operations and projects
• Implementation of technical projects and new technologies for company clients
• Documenting systems configuration and dependencies
• Mentoring and leading junior engineers

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in in a similar position
• Extensive experience of networking design principles and protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, IPv4 and preferably IPv6)
• Expert with Microsoft Windows Servers Operating Systems (Active Directory/DNS/DHCP/NPS)
• Experience with multi-vendor system solutions (architecture design/implementation/manage/maintenance)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux Operating Systems
• Excellent working knowledge with Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange
• Experience with Windows Clustering and other High Available designs
• Good knowledge of cloud solutions (Azure/AWS)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English language
• Database administration (MS SQL) experience will be considered an advantage

Strong Plus

Microsoft MCSE Certification or any other technical certification will be considered a plus
