On behalf of our client, a world’s leading Telecom Company with presence in more than 20 countries, we are currently looking for a System Engineering Specialist to join its super talented team in Bucharest, Romania.

The ideal candidate needs to build and support the Connectivity and Security Data Centre equipment and estate, including configuration of Physical and Virtualized environments and storage systems and networks. Support monitoring team to ensure full coverage of estate.

Key Accountabilities

• Ownership for managing internal and customer requests in Remedy (Incident/Service Request portal), including ensuring tickets are closed within agreed SLA levels
• Provide accurate and timely information by investigating fully all customer enquiries, by using the available equipment and applications, to ensure that incidents & problems are resolved efficiently
• Ensure that the appropriate systems and applications are installed, configured, monitored, managed, updated and maintained in accordance with the Company’s policies and industry best practice
• Managing internal infrastructure tools and utilities such as McAafee EPO, VCentre Protect, Sophos AV, SolarWinds, PRTG, HPSIM including producing appropriate reports for internal / external stakeholders
• Basic infrastructure design & documentation including DMZ, Proxy, Web servers, Jumpboxes, Exchange, etc.

• ITIL v3 Foundation
• HP 3PAR, HP MSA, HP Lefthand SAN & Fibre Channel switch configuration experience
• VMware VCP
• Linux (Redhat)
• Telecoms / ICT / Networking experience
• Vendor recognised qualifications desired
