Role Summary

The ideal candidate should have strong technical background and a “get-things-done” attitude. You must be self-driven, “outside of the box” thinker and be passionate about managing projects from scratch as you will be part of a Core Team, building technology to accelerate the fastest growing product that is changing the delivery landscape. Good communication skills and ability to adjust are a must and a good sense of humour a bonus!

Key Accountabilities

• Operating and scaling large-scale distributed systems in practice (including application security, monitoring and managing incidents)
• Developing, implementing and testing new features
• Implement any necessary changes to the company’s website
• Performing site maintenance as needed, detecting and correcting occasional errors

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• 3+ years’ experience and strong knowledge of pure PHP
• Be able to support projects from scratch
• Hold BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Ability to work within a team
• Agile methodologies experience
• Strong algorithm

Strong Pluses  

• Knowledge of NodeJS
• Knowledge of Golang
• Strong coding skills within an Agile environment (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, React, ViewJS
• Comfort in TDD and other testing practices
• Experience with containerization and job scheduling technologies
• Contributed in open-source projects
