On behalf of our client, a software house specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, we are searching for a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join their technical advanced team.

Role Summary  

The ideal candidate should be an expert in Testing. You must be self-driven, hard-working and passionate about track bugs. You are committed to produce high quality test plans and deliver to deadlines. Good communication skills are a must and a good sense of humour a bonus!

Key Accountabilities

• Develop clear, detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Coordinate and plan testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Create tests to identify software problems
• Analyze bugs and errors found during tests
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and exciting products to meet client needs
• Develop and execute test scenarios and test cases on automated testing frameworks
• Analyze test results and interact with all development team to resolve test failures
• Script test cases using automation environment and integrate in regression infrastructure
• Work in a cross-functional Scrum team comprised of Front End, Back End, and Data Science members
• Monitor debugging process results
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Demonstrate knowledge of Bioinformatics and working experience in ML/DS considered as a strong plus

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in Software quality assurance
• BSc in Computer Science or related field
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, processes and tools
• Experience with testing frameworks like PyTest, Jasmine and Selenium or equivalent
• Strong experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Solid experience with both white and black box testing
• Solid experience with automation testing tools
• Solid experience with at least one scripting language (ideally Python, Bash/Shell are also welcomed!)
• Familiar with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Working experience in an Agile/Scrum development process
