On behalf of our client, a dynamic leader and online gaming operator in Greece and Cyprus, we are currently looking for a self- driven QA Test Engineer, to join its software development team.

 

 

Role Summary

 

The ideal candidate should be an expert in conducting tests before product launches and ensure that the software runs smoothly. You must have a problem solving attitude in order to be able to work on end-to-end projects. You must be driven, hard-working and passionate about executing exploratory and automated testing as well as committed to producing high quality delivering to deadlines.  

 

 

Key Account-abilities

 

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product Owners) to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies 

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject 3+ years’ work experience in software quality assurance
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Knowledge of Jira
• Knowledge of Gitlab
• Knowledge of Docker and kubernetes
• Testing Microservices
• Agile methodology Experience in automation testing using Protractor and/or JavaScript or TypeScript

 

Strong Pluses

 

• Experience in Betting application is a plus
