On behalf of our client, the leader in omni-channel content solutions for lottery and betting operators globally, headquartered in Athens, we are looking for a talented and motivated Python Developer to join their super team in Athens and assist them to advance their successful and innovative betting solutions.

• Work with state of the art technologies developing and integrating systems for Gaming operators
• Help the team to excel and to meet the ever increasing demand
• Produce high quality, clean and scalable back-end code in Python
• Participate in requirements analysis, design and development of new products
• Test and deploy applications and systems
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code
• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
• Maintenance and development of a gaming system platform
• Maintenance and development of the backend system of a retail system
• Design and implementation of several peripheral services that will be complementary on main design

• 3+ years of software development in Python (django, Flask, Falcon, nameko), other languages a plus (JavaScript, Bash, etc.)
• Working knowledge of NoSql databases
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux
• Public GitHub or similar repository
• Bachelor’s Degree or MSc in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience working with Docker, Swarm and / or Kubernetes.
• Experience of DDD, Event Sourcing and CQRS patterns will be considered a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
