On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a PHP Software Engineer to join its software development team in Luxembourg.

Role Summary

You will analyze client requirements, proposing scalable and flexible “future-proofed” solutions and estimating development work accordingly.

Key Accountabilities

• Working closely with project managers to help plan and organise your own work packages to meet deadlines and milestones
• Setting up databases and code repositories, installing and configuring open source platforms
• Programming and templating fully responsive, dynamic websites using current best practice
• Setting up and connecting backend and frontend coding
• Testing code and deploying projects to live server environments

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Proven track record of full stack development including working with third party modules, performance enhancements and caching.
• Advanced understanding of PHP and other object-oriented languages
• Good practical experience and understanding of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, React
• The ability to problem solve and learn new processes and languages quickly.
• Good communication skills and ability to deal with clients directly in a responsive and helpful manner
• Experience with other platforms: WordPress, Silver Stripe, Joomla and Shopify
