On behalf of our client, a world’s leading Telecom Company with presence in more than 20 countries, we are currently looking for a Java Developer to join its super talented team in Bucharest.

Role Summary

You will be programming the company’s Telecoms Reporting platform, including database, business logic, user interface, integration with other components and other utilities used to support the VTR solution.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop well-structured code following company standards
• Document enhancements made and system changes
• Provide input to impact analysis on other systems
• Handle 3rd level of support for the applications developed
• Ability to excel in a distributed team model environment and work on multiple projects simultaneously

 Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience in software development using Java EE
• Frontend skills: JavaScript, Angular.js, SCSS, HTML5
• Exposure to SQL (PL/SQL is a plus)
• Persistence frameworks (Hibernate, JPA)
• Web Services (REST, SOAP/XML)
• Experience with Unit testing
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban)
• Versioning systems, preferably Git
• Experience with Spring framework is a plus
