On behalf of our client, a Cloud services provider over the globe, we are currently looking for a Back-End Developer to join its software development team in Gdańsk, Poland as an intern.

Role Summary

The ideal candidate will develop new features and fix existing issues – front-end to back-end as part of a team. You must be passionate about software development, and enjoy learning about new technologies and contributing to software products used worldwide.

Key Accountabilities

• Engage with other developers, product managers and performance engineers
• Liaise with technical leads and architects to promote great software design and quality.
• Develop awesome new features and fix existing issues – front-end to back-end.
• Point out issues with the existing architecture and code, and clean it up.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Computer science (or closely related field) student approaching either the final year of BSc studies, or 4th/5th year of a Master's degree
• Working knowledge of Java
• Architectural understanding of web applications and the internet
