On behalf of our client, a Cloud services provider over the globe, we are currently looking for a Java Developer who will work remotely for its software development team in Gdańsk, Poland.

Role Summary

The ideal candidate will develop awesome new features front-end to back-end as part of a team. You must be passionate about writing great software, solving difficult problems and enjoy learning about new technologies.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure performance, quality and security aspects while building a product that delivers an awesome user experience
• Engage with other developers, front-end designers, product managers, and performance engineers.
• Liaise with technical leads and architects to promote great software design and quality.
• Develop new features front-end to back-end as part of a team.
• Point out issues with the existing architecture and code, and clean it up.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in a professional development role
• Excellent understanding and working knowledge of Java
• Deep architectural understanding of web applications
• Good knowledge in Spring, Hibernate, Lucene, SQL
• Knowledge of some of the standard front-end technologies such as CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, REST and JSON
