About the role
On behalf of our client, a leading multinational company with long-standing presence in the energy sector we are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their top-quality ΙΤ department based in Athens.
Role
You will provide optimum IT customer service and support internal users in regards to applications, network, hardware, (desktop computers, printers, scanners or handheld devices) and software programs, in person or remotely.
Key Accountabilities
Key Accountabilities
- Provide 1st Level support Company’s Information Technology assets, resolving problems for local and remote users
- Diagnose and escalate 2nd Level incidents where necessary
- Monitor the basic central infrastructure and ensure an excellent level of operations
- Keep track of all IT related service desk tickets
- Set up and prepare new IT equipment according to IT procedures & maintain the assets inventory using appropriate asset management tools
- Keep track of IT Assets inventory in terms of software and hardware while producing regular reports in order to meet current and future business demands
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar role
- BSc degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows, MS Office and MS 365 technologies is a must
- Working experience with CISCO tools & technologies
- Basic Active Directory understanding and experience (user accounts creation and handling)
- Advanced knowledge of English language
