On behalf of our client, an international digital solutions company with international market leading clients in the public and private sector, we are currently looking for a Senior GIS Developer to join its software development team in Belfast, Ireland.

Role Summary

The ideal candidate will be a talented Senior  GIS Developers who will become a key contributor to our digital transformation teams.

Key Accountabilities

• Developing web based solutions using ASP.NET MVC and C#
• Designing & developing object oriented code for web-based systems
• Working with supporting technologies such as Entity Framework, Web API, LINQ, JavaScript and HTML/HTML5/CSS
• Providing technical input into the design, development and maintenance of the solutions
• Designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Helping maintain code quality, organization, and automation

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• 3+ years' experience in commercial development
• Experience with ESRI server – ArcGIS server 10.4 or later
• ESRI server – ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.x
• ESRI server – ArcGIS portal
• ESRI desktop tools – ArcGIS 10.4 or later
• Geocortex – Geocortex essentials 4.6.2 and Geocortex viewer 2.7 or later
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET MVC
• Good understanding and experience with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented programming
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience MS Visual Studio 2010
