About the role
On behalf of our client, a dynamic e-Learning Software organization and innovator in the fast-growing online workplace market, we are currently looking for a self- driven FullStack PHP Software Engineer, to join its software development team.
Key Accountabilities
- In charge of adding new functionalities to the company’s code-base, using their best practices and processes
- Make judgment calls and be a smart decision maker, rather than a passive player waiting for the next assignment
- Be involved in intriguing UI projects such as Interactive Video Authoring tool and the Sales Page Builder
- Undertake projects as a project leader for developing sales technologies such as affiliate marketing and marketing automation modules
- Work closely with the company’s designers, engineers, product management, sales and operations on expanding the application and adding new features
- Participate in the whole life-cycle of the project, get involved from start to finish and communicate project status on a daily basis to your scrum team
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Proven 5+ years’ experience of Object-oriented PHP software development
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Solid understanding of web standards and usability
- Sufficient knowledge in NoSQL (we mainly use MongoDB) & MySQL
- Experience with building and maintaining RESTful API's
- Javascript (jQuery & VueJS)
- Basic devops knowledge preferred
- Basic knowledge of Server, Nginx / Apache, Homestead / Vagrant
- Bachelor’s degree or higher

- Enthusiastic, determined, organized, self-motivated, able to manage time and focus
- Team-player, with incredible work ethic and close attention to detail
- Flexible to work on different time zone schedules
- Past experience with LMS system
- Contributions to Open Source
- Webpack, VueJS
