On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a Full Stack Javascript Developer to join its software development team in Amsterdam.

Role Summary

You will be JavaScript Developer who can demonstrate a deep understanding of React and NodeJS working across the full stack. This is a great opportunity to play a lead role in a high performing agile based development team working with leading edge web technologies including the very latest javascript frameworks, Microservices architectures and the latest DevOps / Continuous Integration and deployment technologies and approaches (Docker, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

Key Accountabilities

• Contributing code changes to our core platform as part of an agile development team
• Solve complex problems and develop entire features
• Investigate new tools and processes and make sure the team are at the very cutting edge of web development
• Active participation in the company's agile processes
• Automated integration and unit testing
• Software delivery via a continuous delivery pipeline in a devOps orientated environment

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Strong Knowledge of modern Javascript libraries specifically React
• Strong Full stack experience with NodeJS.
• JavaScript Object Oriented Programming including knowledge of Design Patterns & anti-patterns.
• Node
• Experience of JavaScript Module design (AMD / RequireJS / CommonJs or ECMAScript 6).
• Developing cross browser / cross device implementation of Single Page Application architecture.
• Use of Version Control in a commercial environment (Git / SVN / Mercurial).
• CSS Framework experience (Bootstrap or similar).
• Javascript frameworks including JQuery, Knockout & D3
• DevOps - Docker, ansible, Jenkins, Chef, puppet
• Open stack
• Source code control
• Test driven development
