On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a Full Stack Java Engineer to join its software development team in Berlin, Germany.

Key Accountabilities

• Work closely with the architecture team to propose improvements and take lead on agreed changes to the systems architecture
• Develop back-end services across the product portfolio and be able to understand, propose improvements and lift forward the design, implementations and technology usage
• Build back-end API's and Services according to best practices
• Work with Product Management and develop more integrated based API's and services
• Maintain and expand core engine algorithms together with the R & D Team

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience as a Java Developer ideally with Java 7 & *, Spring, Hibernate
• Experience of full-stack development on enterprise software applications
• Worked with agile teams and methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
• Good understanding of code design patterns and best practices
• Relevant experience with data structures, data modelling and reporting capabilities
• Exposure with HTML5, CSS and JavaScript and version controls (Git or SVN)
• Experience with Maven or Jenkins or Gradle
