On behalf of our client, one of the largest multinational sports betting and gaming companies, we are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated DevOps Engineer to become a vital member of a highly skilled engineering team, and assist them to advance their innovative betting platform.

Role Summary

You will ensure the availability, reliability and stable Operation of the Production Infrastructure Systems and Applications. This includes maintaining, supporting and optimizing key functional areas, including, Servers Operating Systems, Applications, Virtualization, Automation and Monitoring Stack.

Key Accountabilities

• Incident Management and handling in coordination with global teams
• Monitor and support the Production environment
• Responsible for a mix of Development and Operational related activities needed to automate the installation and integration of different infrastructure components
• Provide additional Support for Cloud deployed Applications and Services
• Maintain open communication lines and share knowledge within IT Operations Teams (particularly Application and Products Development Teams)
• Evolve the approach for Monitoring and Alerting towards Preventive Monitoring
• Collaborate with global team members from Development and Systems Engineering departments

 Knowledge, Skills & Experience 

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience building scalable production environments and automation
• Strong experience in managing and troubleshooting Linux servers (Windows Server experience will be considered a plus)
• Working experience on Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery procedures and tools (eg. Jenkins, Ansible)
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Powershell, Python)
• Experience in monitoring, alerting, metrics systems (eg. Prometheus, Logstash, Grafana)
• Working knowledge of Performance/Capacity/Availability Monitoring and relevant tools (such as Nagios, NewRelic, Icinga)
• Fluent in English, both oral and written
