On behalf of our client, a Cloud services provider over the globe we are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its software development team in Gdańsk, Poland.

Role Summary

The ideal candidate will work side by side with the Jira Cloud development team to maintain and improve our systems. You must staying ahead of the growth curve and experimenting with new software and environments?

Key Accountabilities

• Work side by side with the Jira Cloud development team.
• Gain technical knowledge of company’s services, build tools for automation, improve SRE processes
• Deal with monitoring and alerting, configuration and capacity management,  disaster recovery planning and execution
• Drive a reduction in work interruption (firefighting) and constant increase of services quality

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• 1+ years’ working experience with Java and JVM
• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Google Cloud,   Azure, Rackspace Cloud
• Knowledge of distributed systems monitoring
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (both spoken and   written)
• Strong Java experience
