On behalf of our client, an ex- big hit start up leader and innovator in the fast-growing online workplace market, we are currently looking for a self- driven DevOps Engineer, to join its software development team.

Role Summary

You have to be a passionate engineer to combine software engineering and systems engineering skills in order to build and maintain reliable services. You have to be able to influence, execute and see the impact of your work at the end of the day. Good communication skills and ability to adjust are a must and a good sense of humour a bonus!

Key Accountabilities 

• Contributing to both design and day-to-day response
• Architect and develop solutions for highly resilient services
• Develop automation to help deploy company’s services and maintain its operational viability

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• BS/MS/Phd in Computer Science or any other related field
• Minimum 3+ years experience in a similar role and an engineering background with deep computer science fundamentals
• Hands on experience with tools like Puppet, Chef, and/or Ansible
• Experience with a cloud like AWS or GCP
• Architecture and design of software, development processes and tools, testing, software forensics, change management processes and tools, documentation
• Proficient in one of the following programming languages: Bash, Python or Golang and ability to pick up new languages
• Good understanding of networking technologies: TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, load balancing and routing etc.
• Experience in Docker
• Experience with CI/CD
• Experience with Grafana, Prometheus
• Esxperience in Terraform will be considered as a plus
