Role Summary

The successful candidate will provide 1st Level Support to the internal and external users on the usage of applications. She/he should be able to analyse incidents occurred on production’s applications and resolve them immediately or through escalation.

Key Accountabilities

• Respond to requests for internal applications assistance
• Diagnose and resolve applications issues
• Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
• Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
• Support users in the use of applications by providing necessary training and advice.
• Provide on-the-job training to new department staff members
• Maintain documentation
• Train the users on applications

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• 2+ years’ experience in an Application Support position
• 2+ years’ experience in development (any programming language) and DB development (RDBMS)
• Strong IT Background
• BA in Software Engineering or similar field will be considered a strong plus
• Knowledge of Business Processes
• Excellent use of the English language (both oral and written)
