On behalf of our client, a fast-growing fintech UK software company that offers short-term financing to Amazon sellers, we are currently looking for a Senior Back End Developer to join their Development team in Athens.

Role Summary

As a member of the Back-End team, you will bring passion for design and collaboration. The ideal Back-End Developer will be a real problem-solver, a team player and a joyful part of the team.  

 Key Account-abilities

• Collaborations with our team for production-upgrading with NodeJS

• Conduct the entire web development process - designing, building and documenting RESTful APIs

• Design patterns and designing SOLID software
• Designing our product’s new directions
• A strong desire to innovate, experiment, collaborate and learn

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor Degree in fields such as Computer Science or Engineering
• A minimum of 4 years of working experience in a similar role
• Solid grasp of the backend components with any of the technologies (Java, C#, Python, PHP)
• Experience with NodeJS is a very big plus
• Proficiency in SQL programming and a rock-hard understanding of APIs

• Experience with design patterns and designing SOLID software

• Experience with testing software

• Proficient with git

• Familiar with agile software development methodologies

• Fluent in English
