On behalf of our client, a an innovative cloud computing company with HQs in Thessaloniki, offices in Athens, London, Seattle and with clients all around the globe, we are currently looking for a talented Automation Test Engineer to join its highly-aspirated QA team in Thessaloniki or work remotely.

Role Summary

The ideal candidate should be an expert in Automation Testing. You will responsible for the quality of software development and deployment. You have to be able performing automated tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose. We need excellent communication skills and willingness to be an important member of the team.

  Key Accountabilities

• Design and implement automated tests
• Perform regression, functional and smoke testing
• Plan and execute all Software Development Life Cycle Testing tasks as well as for support/ bug-fix releases
• Manage quality metrics
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or other relevant field (i.e. Engineering)
• Minimum 4+ years of working experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance or similar position
• Experience in automation testing using Selenium or any other similar tools
• Experience in performance testing will be considered as a plus
• Excellent command of English (written & verbal)
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies
• Bug tracking Systems (Jira, Bugzilla, or similar) experience
• Unix, Linux knowledge
• Knowledge of SQL
