Role Summary

The ideal candidate will design and maintain the PHP code using WordPress and WooCommerce. As it is a senior position, we will be relying on your individual expertise to recommend improvements/strategies to help us enhance our sites and web applications as we move into the future.

Key Accountabilities

• Build responsive websites within WordPress and custom CMSs.
• Provide maintenance and upkeep to legacy sites and client programs.
• Ensure code quality through testing and debugging.
• Use of HTML, JavaScript, CSS and PHP.
• Provide clear and timely updates to the project management team
• Apply knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science or any other relevant degree
• Excellent knowledge in PHP, Javascript, CSS, HTML, MySQL
• Excellent knowledge with API’s, especially Google
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• WordPress plugin management and development
• Troubleshooting skills
• Strong knowledge and experience with WordPress development and maintenance (minimum 5 years)
