On behalf of our client, one of the world’s top leaders in insurance and financial services, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Windows Systems Engineer to join its dynamic, top-rated team of professionals.

You will be member of the company’s infrastructure team specialized in the areas of Systems, Networking and Support. You will be in charge of Windows Systems and you will be the person who will bring new ideas and concepts for implementation in regards to Windows Servers. You will ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of all information Windows Systems that support core organizational functions. Lastly you will provide a professional IT advice and support to all end users and external cooperators of the company.

• Design and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, databases and operating systems
• Collaborate with network engineers to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
• Work with executive team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues.
• Conduct  research on software and systems products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts
• Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure system-related products and services
• Propose and create system design models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to development teams
• Design and perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
• Integrate servers, including database, e-mail, print, and backup servers and their associated software into enterprise systems
• Ensure system connectivity of all servers, shared software, groupware, and other applications.
• Leads the day-to-day operational support for server, storage or databases

• BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology related field area
• Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience
• Skilled in Microsoft technologies ( Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server)
• Strong knowledge in database administration (Microsoft SQL)
• Strong knowledge in virtualized environments (VMware ESXi)
• Excellent knowledge of administering enterprise Storage solutions (IBM, DELL)
• Knowledge of Cloud-Azure will be considered as a plus
• Exposure in Veeam Back up & Replication software will be considered as a plus
• Fluency in English
