On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a JavaScript Full Stack Developer to join its software development team in Berlin.

Role Summary

You will work with developers to improve their skills and knowledge about new technologies and best practices.

Key Accountabilities

• Collaborate with the product and UX team to create user stories from epics
• Implement new features to our existing web apps, writing readable, maintainable and testable code
• Validate new features with data-driven analytics
• See your features through from inception to production and own your feature
• Write tests (unit, integration and functional) to ensure that your code works as intended over time
• Maintain code quality through lining and code review
• Continuously Integrate and Deploy your work to production through our CI tool CodeShip

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• 5+ years working on complex, customer-facing web apps
• Profound JavaScript, ideally with React and front-end development skills
• Expert with the latest (widely supported) HTML5 & CSS3 APIs
• Frequent React user (at least 1 year)
• Experience with EcmaScript 6
• A good understanding of at least one React state management library
• User driven, the users experience is paramount to you - “dev complete” is not the same as done
• Analytically minded, you know that you can’t say that something is a success or failure without measuring it
• Introspective, you are constantly looking to evolve your own skill set including reaching out into other areas such as UX and the agile process
• A mentor, other developers will be looking to you for advice and discussion on topics they are unsure about
