On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution with long-standing presence and strong tradition in contributing to economic prosperity of small & medium size businesses, we are looking for an Information Systems Security Officer to join their top-quality ΙΤ department based in Chania, Crete.

Key Accountabilities

• Establish an integrated security strategy to ensure the availability, integrity and confidentiality of critical information
• Develop, implement and review IT systems policies, plans and procedures
• Inform and update central administration about changes in the financial regulatory framework on security of information systems
• Participate in security vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, monitoring and control of corrective actions
• Participate in the development, maintenance and control of the Disaster Recovery and Continuity Plan
• Perform ethical hacking exercises, cyber-threat assessments and ad-hoc security reviews
• Conduct security architecture assessments and security code scans
• Conduct internal and external security audits, train personnel and provide instructions on security issues

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT department, out of which 2 years should be in a similar position
• BSc in Information technology, MSc in Information Security or relevant certificate (eg CISSP, CISA, CISM) will be considered a plus
• Expertise in Penetration Testing, vulnerability assessment and Cyber Security processes
• Experience in financial/insurance institution will be considered a plus
