The ideal candidate will be a part of a team of developers that work on the implementation of apps for phones and tablets making good use of all the latest APIs while maintaining support for older versions of Android.

Key Accountabilities

• You shall undertake specific tasks from the team leads and eventually produce own detailed designs of implementation approach while working with our Creative Team of designers and UX experts to create pixel perfect designs
• You will be responsible for the quality and on-time delivery of your part throughout the software development lifecycle and propose the optimal approach in implementing the software to meet business requirements
• You should be able to keep up with the latest SDK, tools and conventions
• You shall participate in code review session, work with other teams to ensure that the provided solution meets end to end business scenarios and fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing

• 2+ working experience in a similar position
• Have strong knowledge of Java, OOP and Android SDK (different versions of Android and how to deal with different screen sizes)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs (JSON) to connect Android applications to back-end services is necessary
• You have an excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
• Proven ability to ship apps throughout their lifecycle
• Holistic knowledge and passion for the platform
• Superior analytical skills and a strong sense of urgency and ownership in your work
• Experience in modern, distributed version control (we use Git and accompanying flows)
• Experience with modern design patterns like MVP or MVVM
• Knowledge of RxJava, Kotlin will be a plus
